Territory
The Thérèse-De Blainville RCM is part of both the Montréal Metropolitan Community and the Laurentian Administrative Region. It consists of seven dynamic and prosperous municipalities - Blainville, Bois-des-Filion, Boisbriand, Lorraine, Rosemère, Sainte-Annes-des-Plaines and Sainte-Thérèse - , which together cover 204.42 km2 with a total population of 143,370. Road networks
The region is located at the hub of major road networks: 15 km north of the huge Montreal market and steps from access roads to all major North American markets. It is crisscrossed by four highways and three national roads:
- Running along the north-south axis are autoroutes (highways) 15, 13, and 19 as well as national roads 117 and 335.
- Running along the east-west axis, is Autoroute 640, which is connected to Autoroute 40, and one national road, the 344.

Close to Montréal's port and airports
Thérèse-De Blainville is located:
- 30 km from the Port of Montréal, the international port closest to the industrial heart of North America. It is on the St. Lawrence River, one of the world's largest waterways, open to year-round navigation.
- Midway between Montréal's two airports: 30 km from Montréal-Trudeau and 18 km from Montréal-Mirabel.
